Since her debut in 2014, Zara Larsson has been in and out<\/a> of the spotlight. But this past summer, with a huge boost from her album \u201cMidnight Sun,\u201d she\u2019s made it back into the mainstream.<\/p>\n

Larsson said her Lollapalooza turnout was the \u201cbiggest crowd in the U.S.\u201d that she has ever performed for.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Originally, Lil Uzi Vert was set to perform on the T-Mobile stage when Larsson did, but she got pushed to their slot when they canceled their performance.<\/p>\n

As a result, many Lil Uzi Vert fans found themselves at Larsson\u2019s set unexpectedly and tried to exit during the set. Regardless, Larsson\u2019s fanbase took up the majority of the crowd.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She started her set with the energetic hit \u201cMidnight Sun,\u201d with a chorus that the crowd happily sang along to.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

For her song \u201cPretty Ugly,\u201d she made the crowd chant: \u201cI\u2019m so pretty. I can get ugly. I\u2019m so ugly, that\u2019s what makes me pretty.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then she asked, \u201cWho wants to dance with me?\u201d A question that diehard fans know means \u201cLush Life\u201d is about to play.<\/p>\n

As a tour tradition, Larsson started pulling lucky audience members onto the stage with her to do the choreography for \u201cLush Life.\u201d Some fans anticipated this would happen, with one holding up a sign saying \u201cDRAG ME ON STAGE.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI love to bring someone on stage with me,\u201d Larsson said. \u201cThis is my favorite part in the whole show. Are you ready to slay?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Larsson also made sure to show appreciation for her band and backup dancers, an all-woman group that delivered in every department.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been nine years since I was here for the first time, and a lot of things have changed, and \u2018Lush Life\u2019 is one,\u201d Larsson said. \u201cIt\u2019s so crazy what\u2019s happening to me in my life just these past couple months \u2026 It\u2019s a testament for never giving up. Just keep going.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

To end her set, Larsson said to \u201cBe nice to each other, and have the best summer ever,\u201d before performing a slowed-down version of \u201cMidnight Sun\u201d one more time.<\/p>\n
