Index Ventures has raised $3.5 billion in new funds that will be used to invest across all stages of company building, including a significant focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and infrastructure startups.<\/p>\n

The new capital includes a $400 million seed fund, a $900 million venture fund, and a $2.2 billion growth fund, expanded from the firm\u2019s previous $1.5 billion growth vehicle.<\/p>\n

The firm said its strategy remains focused on identifying founders early and supporting them throughout their growth journey.<\/p>\n

“From day one, we built Index around a single conviction: that great founders can come from anywhere,” the firm said. “Our job is to find the best people early and stay with them for as long as it takes.”<\/p>\n

For Israel, the announcement strengthens Index\u2019s position as one of the most active international investors in the local technology ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Index has invested in Israeli companies for two decades and has built a portfolio that includes some of the country\u2019s most successful technology companies, including Wiz, Gong, Fireblocks, Capitolis and Empathy.<\/p>\n

The firm was one of the earliest institutional investors in Wiz, the cloud security company founded by former Adallom executives Assaf Rappaport, Ami Luttwak, Roy Reznik and Yinon Costica. Wiz was acquired for $32 billion by Google, a deal that generated an estimated $4.3 billion return for Index based on its reported ownership stake.<\/p>\n

Index has increased its activity in Israel in recent years, particularly around artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Juriaan Duizendstraal, the Index partner leading the firm\u2019s Israeli activity, said late last year that the fund had completed 16 Israeli investments over three years, investing approximately $300 million in new companies.<\/p>\n

Among its recent investments: Glow – The company raised $180 million at a $1.2 billion valuation less than a year after its founding and is building security technology aimed at protecting enterprise endpoints against evolving cyber threats. NewCore – The company emerged from stealth with $66 million in funding backed by Index Ventures alongside Cyberstarts and Evolution Equity Partners. NewCore is attempting to rebuild identity security for a world in which enterprises are no longer managing only employees, but also machines and AI agents. Enigma AI – Index co-led a $71 million Seed round for the Israeli robotics startup developing AI foundation models for robots and software to deploy them. The company was founded by Unit 8200 veterans Jonathan Jacobi and Gal Niv. Wonderful – Index led the company\u2019s $34 million Seed round and $100 million Series A round, before participating in its $150 million Series B round. The company develops AI-powered customer service technology. PointFive – Index participated in a $60 million Series B round alongside Salesforce Ventures and Accel for the Israeli company focused on managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.<\/p>\n
