Nagase’s character Loups Garous appears in episode 6 this week<\/p>\n

The official website for the television anime<\/a> of Minoru Toyoda<\/a>‘s Draw This, Then Die!<\/a> (Kore Kaite Shine) manga announced on Monday that Anna Nagase<\/a> will join the anime’s cast as Loups Garous (a pen name), a manga creator that Yasumi meets at Comitia. The character will appear in the anime’s upcoming sixth episode this week.<\/p>\n

Ai Yasumi, a first-year high schooler living on the remote island of Izu \u014cshima, has one obsession: manga. When she discovers that her long-idolized but reclusive favorite manga creator, Yasuno-sensei, will make a rare appearance at Comitia, Ai doesn’t hesitate\u2014she has to meet her hero. But that single decision sets off a chain of encounters that will shatter her assumptions about art, genius, and what it truly means to create.<\/p>\n

Hiroaki Akagi<\/a> (The Dangers in My Heart<\/a>, Teasing Master Takagi-san<\/a>) is directing the anime at Shinei Animation<\/a>. Hiroko Fukuda<\/a> (Teasing Master Takagi-san the Movie<\/a>, Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me<\/a>) is overseeing the series scripts and is also writing the scripts along with Aki Itami<\/a> (Teasing Master Takagi-san season 3), and Kanichi Kat\u014d<\/a> (The Eminence in Shadow 2nd Season<\/a>). Takekazu Segawa<\/a> (The Dangers in My Heart sub-character designer) is designing the anime’s characters. <\/p>\n

Tatsuya Kitani<\/a> performs<\/a> the opening theme song “Isho.” Regal Lily<\/a>\u00a0performs<\/a> the ending theme song “Conifer.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

The series premiered<\/a> on July 3 on NTV<\/a>‘s now one-hour<\/a> “Friday Anime Night” programming block at 11:30 p.m. JST (10:30 a.m. EDT). Crunchyroll<\/a> is streaming<\/a> the anime as it airs in Japan.<\/p>\n

Toyoda (Love Roma<\/a>) launched the manga in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday<\/a> magazine in November 2021, and the series is also available<\/a> on Sunday Webry<\/a>. The ninth compiled book volume will ship on June 12.<\/p>\n

The manga won<\/a> an award at the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards in January 2025, and also won<\/a> the 16th Manga Taisho awards in 2023. Additionally, the manga ranked<\/a> at #6 for manga for male readers in the 2023 edition of Takarajimasha<\/a>‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga is Amazing!) guidebook.<\/p>\n
