He told reporters aboard Air Force One on Sunday evening that \u201cthere\u2019s a deal on Hormuz and then there will be a deal on the nuclear,\u201d and suggested negotiations with Iran on the latter would commence on Monday afternoon.\n <\/p>\n
\n Iran quickly denied it was negotiating with the United States, and said instead it was in talks with Oman to establish a safe, \u201ctemporary\u201d route for vessels through the critical waterway.\n <\/p>\n
\n Trump alluded to those claims in his post, saying Iran was offering \u201ctheir usual blather in saying, the Strait of Hormuz will be operated powerfully by them, when it is already completely controlled by the United States Navy.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n He said the US blockade of Iranian ports would continue \u201cunless a Deal, or Total Surrender, is accomplished.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
