Now, we have discovered that Samsung is working on a new smartwatch that could be priced above the Galaxy Fit 4 but below the Galaxy Watch FE. It also appears that the device will not run Wear OS.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We found references to a new Samsung wearable called Galaxy Aero. It runs an RTOS, or real-time operating system, which is typically used on lower-priced devices such as the Galaxy Fit 4. It is unclear whether the device will have a circular, rectangular, or square display. However, it appears to have a screen, as Samsung refers to it as \u201cgalaxy_rtos_watch\u201d in the Galaxy Wearable app&#8217;s codebase.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If it is priced above the Galaxy Fit 4, it will likely feature the usual sensors found on most smartwatches, including an accelerometer, gyroscope, and heart rate monitor.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smartwatches that run RTOS usually use less powerful processors and can generally last at least a week on a single charge. We can expect similar battery life from the Galaxy Aero. Samsung could ultimately launch it under a different name, as Galaxy Aero may be only the device&#8217;s internal codename.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can also confirm that the Galaxy Buds Able, which recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/samsung-clip-on-style-earbuds-galaxy-buds-on\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">leaked with a clip-on design<\/a>, will be called the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/galaxy-buds-on-able-images-samsung-clip-on-earbud-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Galaxy Buds On<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"We recently reported that the Galaxy Fit 4 could launch soon with upgraded wireless connectivity.
