The company could integrate a new-generation anti-peeping tool into the upcoming flagship, ensuring more privacy for your data.

Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu said that Huawei could introduce an upgraded anti-peeping screen privacy feature to the Mate 90 flagship. The upcoming phone lineup already has a lot to offer, though this add-on will directly impact the user experience.

Anti-peeping feature debuted with the Pura 80 Ultra in mid-2025. Powered by AI, the capability uses the front-facing camera and tracking sensors to detect if someone around you is peeping into your display or trying to read your private information.

It first monitors the area around the phone in real-time, and when notices an unauthorized second face or prying eyes looking at the display, the feature triggers a warning, blurs the screen, or simply hides sensitive notifications.

Many brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, and Vivo took this move as an inspiration and implemented similar hardware and software on their devices. Honor is about to bring such a privacy feature to the Magic 9 series by October this year.

Read Details: Honor Magic 9 to bring a Huawei-inspired security upgrade

Now, a new leak suggests that Huawei may further enhance the screen privacy feature with the Mate 90 series. The company has just added a similar tool to its latest computer. Perhaps the OEM aims to add more privacy-oriented features to its devices.

Whether Huawei will use hardware technology this time, as Samsung does with the Galaxy S26 Ultra using Privacy Display, or continue to advance its software skills for the 2026 Mate phones is unclear at present.

Though the leak suggests the upcoming addition won’t be the same as before and will bring significant changes. Let’s wait to know the official details.

Huawei Mate 90 series will undergo many upgrades, and one of these changes can be an advanced screen…

[16
85,46,321,125
post-576942","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mobile","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-mobile","tag-technology
["GET
