(<a href=\"https:\/\/patch.com\/new-jersey\/moorestown\/new-moorestown-fitness-center-hold-grand-opening\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Patch<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-49253 br-lazy\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0naHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmcnIHZpZXdCb3g9JzAgMCAxMjAwIDkwMCc+PC9zdmc+\" data-breeze=\"https:\/\/42freeway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/HealthTraxGymVirtuaWashingtonTwp01.jpg\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" alt=\"\" data-br data-br\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Virtua Health &amp; Wellness Center is located on Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, just past the Fries Mill Road intersection and adjacent to the newer Woodmont residential and commercial development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The planned Washington Township gym is part of the larger 250,000-square-foot Virtua Health &amp; Wellness Center, with the fitness center and aquatics facilities located toward the roadside portion of the complex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I stopped by the property last week, and the facility appears to have an extensive aquatics area with multiple pools. Healthtrax confirms that aquatics will be a significant part of the Washington Township location (It\u2019s in the name!), listing a lap pool, heated exercise pool and hot tub among the amenities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-49252 br-lazy\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0naHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmcnIHZpZXdCb3g9JzAgMCAxMjAwIDkwMCc+PC9zdmc+\" data-breeze=\"https:\/\/42freeway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/HealthTraxGymVirtuaWashingtonTwp02.jpg\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"900\" alt=\"\" data-br data-br\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Washington Township location is now listed on the Healthtrax website with an opening timeframe of \u201cComing Soon This Fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courierpostonline.com\/story\/news\/local\/south-jersey\/2018\/10\/22\/virtua-close-sewell-washington-township-nj-fitness-center-power-wellness\/1729644002\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Courier-Post<\/a>, the former Virtua fitness center has been closed for nearly eight years, with its final day of operation on December 31, 2018.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">42Freeway readers reminded me that Healthtrax was previously in Washington Twp at a different address\u2026 the Kennedy building closer to the Jefferson Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Healthtrax Fitness &amp; Aquatics<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthtrax.com\/about-us\/who-we-are\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Healthtrax <\/a>has been operating for more than 40 years, with a focus on creating a supportive and welcoming fitness environment for members of varying ages and fitness levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is primarily concentrated in New England, with locations in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
