Its power to move shares, though, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-10-06\/openai-is-fast-becoming-a-whale-in-stock-market-it-has-shunned\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" class=\"media-ui-Link_link-tVkXhPLPofs-\" data-component=\"link\">rapidly spreading<\/a> to companies it even briefly discusses teaming up with.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ArticleBodyText_articleBodyContent__17wqE typography_articleBody__3UcBa\" data-component=\"paragraph\">The company behind ChatGPT held its annual developers event Monday, and mere mentions of other publicly traded firms by presenters sent those shares soaring. Among notable movers: Figma Inc. climbed as much as 16%, HubSpot Inc. added 11% and Salesforce Inc. gained 4.2%. Online travel companies also saw brief pops, with Expedia Group, Inc., and TripAdvisor Inc., both advancing at least 7%.
