\n\t\u201cThe Office<\/a>\u201d and \u201cThe Chilling Adventures of Sabrina\u201d actor Lucy Davis<\/a> is receiving an outpouring of love and support from the industry after revealing <\/a>she is battling an \u201cincurable\u201d form of Stage 4 breast cancer. Many of Davis\u2019 collaborators, from her \u201cShaun of the Dead\u201d director Edgar Wright to her \u201cSabrina\u201d co-stars Kiernan Shipka<\/a> and Miranda Otta, commented on her Instagram announcement with well wishes and prayers.<\/p>\n

\n\tDavis revealed to fans that she was diagnosed a year and a half ago with breast cancer that has since \u201cmetastasized to my bones. Specifically to my spine, right hip, and my ribs,\u201d she wrote on Instagram. \u201cThe cancer is incurable, and too late for chemo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m not scared of whatever comes next. I\u2019m at peace with it,\u201d Davis added. \u201cI\u2019ll see my Gracie sooner than expected, and for me, leaving my physical body just means going home\u2026 I\u2019m still going to keep up all my work for animal rights. It\u2019s so important to me. And I still would like to keep working. I\u2019m perfectly able to do so, and acting is one of the biggest joys in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDavis\u2019 declaration that she wants to continue acting amid her diagnosis was championed by Jenna Fischer<\/a>. The two actors are connected by \u201cThe Office\u201d franchise, with Davis playing receptionist Dawn Tinsley on the original U.K. edition of the show and Fischer playing her U.S. counterpart Pam Beesly in NBC\u2019s remake. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBeautiful post. Love you lots. And yes to working with cancer!\u201d Fischer commented. \u201cLet\u2019s spread that message far and wide! How working is such a comfort!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFischer revealed in 2024<\/a> that she had been diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer and was now living cancer free after \u201ccompleting surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.\u201d She wrote at the time that she was finally eager to go public with her cancer journey in order \u201cto implore you to get your annual mammograms.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDavis is also beloved for playing Hilda Spellman on Netflix\u2019s \u201cChilling Adventures of Sabrina.\u201d Series stars Kiernan Shipka (\u201cI love you so much Lucy\u201d) and Miranda Otto (\u201cLucy I love you. You are transcendent in all things. See you very soon\u201d) both sent Davis love on Instagram, as did previous Sabrina actor Melissa Joan Hart (\u201cYour outlook is inspiring and I\u2019m sending you love, prayers and big hugs! And a little magic for a miracle!\u201d).<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cLove you Lucy. Always. See you very soon,\u201d wrote Davis\u2019 \u201cShaun of the Dead\u201d director Edgar Wright.<\/p>\n
