The day is finally here. Tonight, Disney is hosting its two-hour \u201cEntertainment Showcase\u201d at D23 2026<\/a>, and io9 will be there in the room. It promises to bring a slew of updates on everything in the wide world of Disney<\/a>. Will there be new Avengers: Doomsday<\/a> footage? Is the X-Men cast on hand? Are they ready to announce what\u2019s coming from the future of Star Wars? The answers to all those questions and more are coming live from Anaheim, CA, right about now.<\/p>\n

Zootopia 2 co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Ginnifer Goodwin are apparently hosting the night and they introduce the CEO of Disney, Josh D\u2019Amaro. He\u2019s talking about being a Disney fan and his journey to the big job.<\/p>\n

Yeah yeah, get to the movies and TV, Josh!<\/p>\n

Aug 14Things Are Underway<\/a> <\/p>\n

After a long and, frankly, kind of painful preshow, it\u2019s starting. 25 minutes late. The lights have gone down, and the presentation has begun.<\/p>\n

As an overview for the next few hours, there is certainly a lot of content coming that isn\u2019t strictly io9. We\u2019ll keep a run of show going and then focus in on the stuff you care most about.<\/p>\n
