UFC 333 will feature two title bouts when the event takes place in the United Arab Emirates this October.<\/p>\n
The main card is led by a fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Movsar Evloev for the UFC featherweight title, the UFC announced during Saturday night’s UFC 330 broadcast.<\/p>\n
Petr Yan and Merab Dvalishvili will battle for the UFC heavyweight championship in a co-main event trilogy fight.<\/p>\n
UFC 333 is set to take place Oct. 24 in Abu Dhabi.<\/p>\n
The upcoming event also features a flyweight bout between Lone’er Kavanagh and Ramazan Temirov, a heavyweight fight featuring Alexander Volkov and Rizvan Kuniev and a featherweight bout between Arnold Allen and Aaron Pico.<\/p>\n
Confirmed preliminary bouts include Dominick Reyes versus Azamat Murzakanov (light heavyweight), Abus Magomedov versus Cam Rowston (middleweight), Nikita Krylov versus Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev (light heavyweight) and Grant Dawson versus Nurullo Aliev (lightweight).<\/p>\n
Volkanovski ranked as featherweight champion from 2019 to 2023 before losing his title with a KO loss<\/a> to Ilia Topuria in 2024.<\/p>\n He reclaimed the then-vacant title with a unanimous decision victory<\/a> against Diego Lopes in April 2025.<\/p>\n Volkanovski will now look to defend his title against Evloev, who is getting the first opportunity of his UFC career to compete for a belt after claiming a majority decision win<\/a> over Lerone Murphy in March.<\/p>\n Dvalishvili defeated Yan in a decision win when the two fighters first faced off in 2023. He went on to win the bantamweight title with from Sean O’Malley in 2024.<\/p>\n
