\n Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a> has hinted that this could be his last year playing professional soccer, after what\u2019s been a record-breaking career.\n <\/p>\n

\n The 41-year-old is widely considered one of the best players in history, winning five Ballon d\u2019Or<\/a> awards in addition to a host of major trophies and record-breaking achievements.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cThis is probably my last year of football, and I want to leave a spectacular legacy,\u201d he recently told Vogue after marrying<\/a> his wife Georgina Rodr\u00edguez on Tuesday.\n <\/p>\n

\n He said he was \u201clooking forward to spending more time with the family,\u201d adding that he had his future \u201call mapped out.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cI have so many things to keep me busy that to tell you just one thing is hard. Because football could leave a big hole, you have to fill your time in various ways, not just one,\u201d he said.\n <\/p>\n

\n \u201cAnd also have more fun, travel more, watch and play padel, which I really like, and continue to enjoy what I\u2019ve earned \u2013 what we\u2019ve earned. Because, after all, it\u2019s been 25 years with a lot of sacrifice.\u201d\n <\/p>\n

\n Ronaldo played and scored in his sixth World Cup<\/a> for Portugal this summer \u2013 an all-time record \u2013 but is now a shadow of the player that once dominated the sport.\n <\/p>\n

\n He has scored 976 goals for club and country so far in a career that has seen him play for the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.\n <\/p>\n

\n It has long been his aim to reach 1,000 career goals, a milestone he can reach playing in the Saudi league this season.\n <\/p>\n
