Soccer’s signature competition wrapped nearly a month ago, on July 19 when Spain defeated Argentina in the tournament’s final match, but Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)” still triumphs as the biggest song in the world, topping the Billboard Global 200 for a fifth week and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for an eighth frame.

Plus, Tame Impala’s “Loser” surges to the top 10 of both charts sparked by its sync in the new blockbuster Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

“Dai Dai,” which first led the Global 200 in mid-July, drew 44.1 million streams (down 10% week over week) and sold 6,000 (down 9%) worldwide Aug. 7-13, according to Luminate. It holds atop Global Excl. U.S., where it first reigned at the beginning of July, with 37.8 million streams (down 10%) and 4,000 sold (down 8%) outside the U.S.

(In the U.S., the song continues to gain at multiple radio formats, rising to No. 3 as the Greatest Gainer on Rhythmic Airplay. It topped Latin Airplay for a week in late July.)

Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” drops to No. 2 on the Global 200 after three nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in June; Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” rebounds 4-3 after reaching No. 2; and Grande’s “Petal” falls to No. 4 from its No. 2 debut spot.

“Loser” vaults 51-5 on the Global 200, up 72% to 30 million streams and 27% to 2,000 sold worldwide. The song plays in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which has cleared $2 billion globally at the box office over its first three weekends of release. The Kevin (not Peter) Parker-fronted act adds its second top 10, after “Dracula,” with JENNIE, hit No. 2 in April. Both songs were originally released on Tame Impala’s 2025 album, Deadbeat.

Notably, the three biggest gainers on the Global 200 all benefit from the Spider-Man franchise: Below “Loser,” Steve Lacy’s “Oh Yeah?,” also heard in the new film, blasts 158-23 (20.5 million streams worldwide, up 95%) and Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse),” from 2018, bounds 53-29 (22.8 million, up 18%).

Elsewhere in the Global Excl. U.S. top five, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” repeats at No. 2 after it spent its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1 in June; “Petal” keeps at No. 3 in its second week; Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat,” featuring Nicki Minaj, lifts 5-4 after two weeks at No. 1 in May; and BTS’ “SWIM” descends 4-5 after eight weeks at No. 1 since April.

Plus, “Loser” soars 66-6 on the Global 200, up 79% to 20 million streams outside the U.S. It’s likewise Tame Impala’s second top 10 on the chart, where “Dracula” also hit No. 2 in April.

The Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts rank songs based on streaming and sales activity culled from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. The Global 200 is inclusive of worldwide data and the Global Excl. U.S. chart comprises data from territories excluding the United States.

Chart ranks are based on a weighted formula incorporating official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from around the world, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from the charts’ calculations.

The latest charts, dated Aug. 22, 2026, will update on Billboard.com Tuesday, Aug. 18. For both tallies, the top 100 titles are available to all readers on Billboard.com, while the complete 200-title rankings are visible on Billboard Pro, Billboard’s subscription-based service. For all chart news, you can follow @billboard and @billboardcharts on both X and Instagram.

Luminate, the independent data provider to the Billboard charts, completes a thorough review of all data submissions used in compiling the weekly chart rankings. Luminate reviews and authenticates data. In partnership with Billboard, data deemed suspicious or unverifiable is removed, using established criteria, before final chart calculations are made and published.

Soccer’s signature competition wrapped nearly a month ago, on July 19 when Spain defeated Argentina in the tournament’s…

[32
12196,458,2645,146,13340,2646,85,46,1098
post-587751","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-celebrities","tag-breaking","tag-celebrities","tag-chart-beat","tag-entertainment","tag-genre-latin","tag-genre-pop","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-music-news
["GET
