According to a recent rumour, the upcoming device could feature a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/leaked_huawei_mate_xt_2_patent_hints_at_a_new_design_and_folding_mechanism-news-73762.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">different folding mechanism<\/a> compared to the original <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/huawei_mate_xt_ultimate-13320.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mate XT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Huawei Mate XT2 will be unveiled in China on September 7, the company confirmed in a Weibo post. Huawei will also showcase its recently announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/huawei_unveils_harmonyos_7_with_a_lot_of_glasslike_effects_better_performance-news-73259.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">HarmonyOS 7<\/a> at the event.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"1160\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/1787689093_324_gsmarena_001.jpg\" alt=\"Huawei Mate XT 2 will be unveiled next month\"\/><\/p>\n<p>While Huawei has yet to reveal any other details, the Mate XT2 is rumoured to feature an inward-folding design.<\/p>\n<p>The foldable could offer both a cover display and a large internal flexible display.
