Minari Endo<\/a> announced on X (formerly Twitter<\/a>) on Tuesday a new sequel series for her Maria Holic<\/a> manga titled Maria Holic: Sono Ato no 12-kagetsu no Ohanashi (Maria Holic: A Story Set 12 Months After) will launch in Kadokawa<\/a>‘s Monthly Comic Alive<\/a> magazine on August 27.<\/p>\n The story is set one year after the events of the original series.<\/p>\n Endo launched her Maria Holic manga in the inaugural issue of Media Factory<\/a>‘s Monthly Comic Alive in 2006, and ended the series in November 2014. Tokyopop<\/a> published<\/a> the beginning of the manga in North America, and One Peace Books<\/a> is rereleasing the series. The story inspired<\/a> two<\/a> television anime in 2009 and 2011, and Sentai Filmworks<\/a> licensed<\/a> both<\/a>.<\/p>\n Endo ended<\/a> the Hatenk\u014d Y\u016bgi<\/a> manga in 2022. The long-running series started publication in 1999. Ichijinsha<\/a> shipped the 24th and final compiled book volume in September 2022. Tokyopop published the original manga in English as\u00a0Dazzle.\u00a0<\/p>\n A 10-episode anime adaptation of the series aired in Japan in 2008. Nobuhiro Takamoto<\/a> directed the series at Studio DEEN<\/a>. \u00a0Yasuhiro Imagawa<\/a> handled series composition and Norikatsu Nakano<\/a> designed the characters. Sentai Filmworks released<\/a> the anime in a complete DVD collection in July 2016.<\/p>\n Endo ended<\/a> the Uch\u016bjin no Shiwaza Desu! manga in December 2017. Endo launched<\/a> the manga in December 2015. Kadokawa shipped the third compiled volume in January 2018.<\/p>\n
