Siri AI joins the CarPlay party starting with iOS 27. The iPhone software update is currently in beta ahead of the official launch in September.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, the fourth third-party AI chatbot has arrived with Apple CarPlay support: Meta AI.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latest version of <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/meta-ai\/id1558240027\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Meta AI for iPhone<\/a> now works with CarPlay. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Meta AI app joins three other third-party chatbot apps that work with CarPlay: ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Meta AI on CarPlay appears to be in limited testing for now. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the iPhone app appears in CarPlay, launching the app may include a \u201cNot supported\u201d message for now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At least for me, launching the CarPlay app says \u201cMeta AI experience is not supported yet for your account.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-wp-class--hide=\"state.isContentHidden\" data-wp-class--show=\"state.isContentVisible\" data-wp-init=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--click=\"actions.showLightbox\" data-wp-on--load=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--pointerdown=\"actions.preloadImage\" data-wp-on--pointerenter=\"actions.preloadImageWithDelay\" data-wp-on--pointerleave=\"actions.cancelPreload\" data-wp-on-window--resize=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" height=\"384\" width=\"1024\" data-id=\"1066638\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Meta-AI-CarPlay-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1066638\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-wp-class--hide=\"state.isContentHidden\" data-wp-class--show=\"state.isContentVisible\" data-wp-init=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--click=\"actions.showLightbox\" data-wp-on--load=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" data-wp-on--pointerdown=\"actions.preloadImage\" data-wp-on--pointerenter=\"actions.preloadImageWithDelay\" data-wp-on--pointerleave=\"actions.cancelPreload\" data-wp-on-window--resize=\"callbacks.setButtonStyles\" height=\"384\" width=\"1024\" data-id=\"1066639\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Meta-AI-CarPlay-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1066639\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tried trialing a Meta AI paid account to see if CarPlay was locked behind a premium account. However, the message didn\u2019t change in the Meta AI CarPlay app. Your mileage may vary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway, it\u2019s great to see CarPlay picking up a fourth major chatbot app \u2014 even before Siri AI officially launches for everyone. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s the key benefit of CarPlay: integrating existing iPhone apps with your vehicle. You just can\u2019t expect this amount of choice from built-in infotainment systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this month, Meta AI also <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2026\/08\/19\/meta-ai-is-now-available-as-a-more-capable-desktop-app-for-mac\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">arrived on the Mac<\/a>.
