Despite positive reviews \u2014 including a 92 percent critics score and 90 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes \u2014 as well as 11 Emmy nominations, the most of any Prime Video series this year, Spider-Noir will not return for a second season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHere is the official logline: \u201cSpider-Noir\u00a0tells the story of Ben Reilly (Cage), a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city\u2019s one and only superhero.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSpider-Noir\u00a0was the first chapter in Sony Pictures Television and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/amazon\/\" id=\"auto-tag_amazon_1\" data-tag=\"amazon\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon<\/a> Studios\u2019 ongoing efforts to expand stories within Sony Pictures\u2019 universe of Marvel characters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson rounded out the cast. Guest stars included Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson and Kai Caster.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel\u2019s\u00a0The Punisher, Shantaram) served as co-showrunners and executive producers. Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) directed and executive produced the first two episodes. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPhil Lord and Christopher Miller executive produced for Lord Miller, alongside Aditya Sood and Dan Shear.\u00a0Amy Pascal executive produced for Pascal Pictures.
