\n\t Courteney Cox<\/a> has opened up about the death of her \u201cScream\u201d co-star Hayden Panettiere<\/a>, who died in August at 36 years old.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tWhile reflecting on her time filming \u201cScream VI\u201d with Panettiere, Cox told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, \u201cShe\u2019s a really wonderful actor. The last time I worked with her we had a great time. She was really fun and happy and smart, and it\u2019s really sad. It\u2019s obviously horrible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCox and Panettiere first starred together in 2011\u2019s \u201cScream 4,\u201d which introduced Panettiere to the franchise. The pair later reunited for 2023\u2019s \u201cScream 6.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTributes for Panettiere have continued to pour out across Hollywood. Most recently, her \u201cHeroes\u201d co-stars threw a reunion to \u201ccelebrate\u201d her life.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tAlong with photos of the event, series star Jimmy Jean-Louis shared on X, \u201cA \u2018HEROES\u2019 reunion to celebrate the life of HAYDEN was deeply emotional. There was sadness in our hearts, but also so much love, gratitude and warmth as we remembered the beautiful moments shared and the lasting impact of a life that touched so many. Au revoir Hayden.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJack Coleman, who played Panettiere\u2019s dad on \u201cHeroes,\u201d posted his own emotional tribute on Instagram.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m heartbroken. I couldn\u2019t begin to put my thoughts into words until now, and they will be inadequate,\u201d Coleman wrote.<\/a> \u201cI\u2019ve loved Hayden since day one of the pilot of \u2018Heroes,\u2019 20 years ago, when she introduced herself by shouting \u2018daddy\u2019 and throwing her arms around me. From that day on, she called me daddio. She was Haydini, because she was a magician.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShortly after her death, Panettiere\u2019s father told ABC, \u201cIt is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden.
