{"id":619081,"date":"2026-09-17T16:36:20","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T16:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/619081\/"},"modified":"2026-09-17T16:36:20","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T16:36:20","slug":"sas-cancels-planned-route-between-denmark-and-israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/619081\/","title":{"rendered":"SAS cancels planned route between Denmark and Israel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">SAS, the largest airline in northern Europe, said the decision followed a reassessment of the planned Copenhagen-Tel Aviv route.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the latest assessment we conducted in recent days regarding operational and commercial factors, we have concluded that conditions are not yet suitable for launching the planned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/international\/internationalrussia-ukraine-war\/article-908617\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Copenhagen<\/a> to Tel Aviv route at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The airline added that \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/crime-in-israel\/article-908914\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tel Aviv<\/a> remains an important destination for SAS and for our customers, and we will continue to monitor developments and examine the opportunity to launch the route in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">SAS stopped flying to Israel in March 2016 and briefly resumed service in October 2025.
