Also, Blanco seems to be ready to take on the loving dad role as soon as possible. During one of his latest appearances, the music producer opened up about how he is looking forward to becoming a father and how he is going to be as a parent after it becomes a reality for him.<\/p>\n

Benny Blanco talks about wanting to be a father<\/p>\n

While featuring on the \u2018Open Book with Jenna\u2019 podcast, the music producer opened up about family life and how becoming a father is one of the biggest things that he has been looking forward to. Blanco joined the podcast episode to promote his new book.When talking about parenthood, Blanco admitted that he does not feel afraid of the whole ordeal and is actually looking forward to that chapter of his life. He told Jenna Bush Hager, \u201cSome of the negative things from my childhood are what helped me really get where I want to be and gave me the courage and bravery to do something different. I\u2019m not afraid. I mean, I of course want to be the best parent, the best partner. I\u2019m excited when that day finally comes.\u201dHe also opened up about how he is aware that it is not going to be easy or a smooth ride and that he will make mistakes along the way. \u201cI\u2019m convinced that when that finally does happen, I am going to make mistakes, and that\u2019s okay. Failure in real life\u2014that’s what\u2019s going to make my kid, that\u2019s what\u2019s going to screw \u2018em up a little, but that\u2019s what\u2019s going to make them special.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why Benny Blanco believes that making mistakes is important<\/p>\n

During the podcast episode, the 38-year-old also shared that making mistakes in life is a natural thing to do, and it also is an important factor when it comes to parenting. He continued, \u201cI do think it\u2019s important, because we all have those blemishes on our report card, but that\u2019s what makes it look so good when you did have that blemish, and then you\u2019re like, Now I have an ‘A.”‘<\/p>\n

Selena Gomez has also expressed that she wants to build her family<\/p>\n

Over the years, the singer and actress has also shared her thoughts on starting a family and how it is something that she wants in her life in the future. During an earlier feature on Miley Cyrus\u2019 show \u2018Bright Minded,’ the \u2018Only Murders in the Building\u2019 star opened up about how life has been and detailed how her lupus and bipolar disorder affected her life. She also shared that despite everything going on in her life, she is willing to do what it takes to create a family.During the interview, she added, \u201c[But] I\u2019m in a much better place with that. I find it a blessing that there are wonderful people willing to do surrogacy or adoption, which are both huge possibilities for me. It made me really thankful for the other outlets for people who are dying to be moms. I\u2019m one of those people,\u201d she continued. \u201cI\u2019m excited for what that journey will look like, but it\u2019ll look a little different. At the end of the day, I don\u2019t care. It\u2019ll be mine.
