President Donald Trump<\/a> delivered another catastrophic warning to Iran this weekend, telling Fox News it’s only a matter of time until he’s ready to “blow the entire nation up.”<\/p>\n

Trey Yingst, the network’s chief foreign correspondent, told “Fox & Friends” viewers<\/a> he had just spoken with the president, who said he was in\u00a0“deciding mode” and “very big things are going to be happening in the not-so-distant future.”<\/p>\n

Trump reportedly laid out several paths he could take, saying he was choosing between “wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically or making a deal.”<\/p>\n

Making escalation sound like an inevitable, Yingst said that Trump added,\u00a0“My question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up? They better behave.”<\/p>\n

The president’s cataclysmic threat may not be a definite, as he is reportedly set to meet with a set of six Persian Gulf leaders while they are in the U.S. for this week’s United Nations General Assembly in New York City<\/a>. He also told Fox News he would be\u00a0“open” to meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the summit.<\/p>\n

Though Trump made it sound like he was at a critical crossroad in the war on Iran, he told Yingst the past few days were “no different from any other weekend.”<\/p>\n

However, on Saturday, U.S. embassies across the Middle East issued security alerts<\/a> warning of “potential for unforeseen escalation” after the Iran-allied Houthi rebels intensified attacks on Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Trump reportedly told Fox News he has been in “constant communication with the Houthis and that they’ve agreed not to fight the United States.”<\/p>\n
