If you’re looking for a gaming PC closer to the $1,000 mark, check out this discounted Skytech Azure 3 build, which is currently at its 30-day low price on Amazon. It’s currently coming in at $1,129.99 with 13% off, which is not bad at all considering what this PC brings to the table. In short, this PC is an excellent option for FHD gaming, leaning more toward ultra settings than super-high FPS for competitive play.

First off, you’ve got an RX 9060 graphics card, which is an RDNA 4 GPU that packs 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM and improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, the latter of which powers features like FSR, for example. That’s paired with a Ryzen 5 5500 processor, which is an AM4 socket CPU. It features your typical budget-friendly/ gaming specs, so you’re getting 6 cores, 12 threads, a 4.2 GHz boost clock speed, and 16MB L3 cache. Notably, its L3 cache is pretty modest, which can be a limiting factor when playing games at extreme frame rates in FHD, but in my experience, 16MB L3 caches are common at this price point.

Since this configuration isn’t super power-hungry, it doesn’t need some powerhouse AIO cooling system. Instead, you’ve got a high-performance air cooler with ARGB fans and a reasonably roomy PC case to help manage thermals, keep performance stable, and reduce operational noise. Its 650W Gold-rated PSU is also more than enough for this configuration and should provide ample and steady power to this PC’s components, and do so efficiently.

On the RAM and storage front, you’ve got 32GB of DDR4, which is going to give you some breathing room for newer releases and help when you’re playing asset-heavy games, like open worlds and simulators. You’ve also got a modest 1TB SSD, which is fine for most people, especially if you don’t mind the occasional bit of spring cleaning from time to time.

Why consider this Skytech gaming PC at this price?

It’s a competitively priced alternative to an RTX 5060 build

In my experience, grabbing an RTX 5060 prebuild for this price usually lands you with 16GB of DDR5 and a similar processor, albeit one that’s either AM5 or a 14th-gen Intel model. If you’re after something that’s great for FHD gaming, I think RX 9060 builds are a smart way to go from a price-to-performance perspective.

The Azure lineup delivers on aesthetics

They’re some of the best-looking gaming PCs I’ve come across that are also priced to be more accessible. With a build like this, you’re getting excellent performance, but also something that’s going to genuinely look great in your setup.

AM4 gaming PCs are the best way to go, if you’re not planning on extensive upgrades

Your upgrade path is slightly limited with AM4; however, if you want something that’s going to perform well out of the box, and you want to use it as is for years to come, it’s a good way to go if you want to keep costs down.
