\"Kajol Saif Ali Khan<\/a> had a terrible accident on January 16 this year when a burglar entered his house and during a fight with him, the actor was brutally stabbed. While Saif has described the whole incident and reflected on what had happened in several interviews post that, the actor has now revealed why he walked so normally after returning home from the hospital, as if nothing had happened. This raised several eyebrows and people questioned the authenticity of this incident as it did not look like, he had undergone such a major surgery and almost had lost his life after being stabbed. Saif appeared on Twinkle Khanna<\/a>, Kajol’s show ‘Two Much’. He described the whole incident on the show and on hearing it, Akshay along with Kajol and Twinkle called him a ‘real life hero’ for his family as he protected his on Jeh. Recalling what had happened, Saif said, \u201cKareena (Kapoor) had been out and I had just finished watching a movie with the boys (his children Taimur and Jeh). So, we went to sleep quite late, around two in the morning. After Kareena returned, we had a small chat before we turned in. Then, the maid came in and she said, \u2018Jeh baba ke kamre mein koi hai. Uske haath mein chaaku hai aur bol rahe hai usko paisa chahiye\u2018 (There\u2019s someone in Jeh\u2019s room. He has a knife in his hand, and he says he wants money).\u201dHe continued, \u201cI kind of heard that and rolled out of bed. I barged into Jeh\u2019s room in the dark and I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife.\u201d When Akshay Kumar, who was with Saif as a guest on the show, asked him if the attacker was pointing the knife at the boy, Saif said that he wiggled the weapon around so much that it eventually left cut marks on both Jeh and the nanny. \u201cI thought he was smaller than me, which means he\u2019s not very large. And I jumped on him. Jeh later told me, \u2018It was a big mistake. You should have punched or kicked him instead.\u2019 But I jumped and we started this fight. He went mad. He had two knives and he started slashing all over me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that it was actually Jeh’s nanny who saved him at that point in time and pushed the burglar who was on him, stabbing him. He added, “I had been nicked in the spine. Taimur looked at me and asked, \u2018Are you going to die?\u2019 I said, \u2018I don\u2019t think so, but I have a pain in the back.\u2019 Kareena was supposed to take the kids to Lolo\u2019s (Karisma Kapoor). We stopped a rickshaw and then Tim (Taimur) said he wanted to come with me. I was getting a lot of peace looking at him.\u201dRecalling what had happened in the hospital as he walked in, Saif added, “I asked a guy, \u2018Can you get a stretcher?\u2019 He asked, \u2018Wheelchair?\u2019 And I said, \u2018No, I think I am going to need a stretcher.\u2019 But seeing he wasn\u2019t waking up, I said, \u2018I am Saif Ali Khan and this is a medical emergency.\u2019 That\u2019s when all pandemonium broke loose.\u201dFinally breaking silence on being questioned about his accident as he seemed fine and walked home from the hospital, Saif said, “When everything was finished\u2026 a lot of advice came in, including regarding how to go out. The media were curious. Nobody was listening to me. It was very bad, yes, but I could walk. They had stitched it up. It was painful to walk, but I could. The wheelchair was not required.” Reacting to Saif, Twinkle revealed that his mother Sharmila Tagore<\/a> told her that she had advised Saif to go in a wheelchair.
