\nVIENNA, Va.\u2014MyEyeDr.<\/a>, a leading provider of comprehensive eyecare and eyewear solutions, announced today that it has entered into an agreement with EyeCare Partners<\/a> to acquire its optometry division, consisting of more than 300 offices, including the Clarkson Eyecare<\/a>, EyeCare Associates<\/a>, EyeCare Center<\/a>, Nationwide Vision<\/a> and The Eye Doctors<\/a> brands. In making the announcement, MyEyeDr. advised that the acquisition would expand its ability to serve more patients and communities, grow its position as a leader in optometry, and support long-term investment in doctors, associates and patient care, through growth opportunities and shared best practices across a larger organization.<\/p>\n

\nJoining Clarkson Eyecare, EyeCare Associates, EyeCare Center, Nationwide Vision and The Eye Doctors together with MyEyeDr.\u2019s existing portfolio of brands provides an opportunity to build on the strength of the overall company while meeting the needs of patients in the future, the company advised. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis acquisition speaks directly to both organizations\u2019 legacies of providing personalized eyecare from trusted community doctors and knowledgeable teams who help patients see, look and be their best,\u201d the announcement stated. \u201cMyEyeDr. will emerge from the transaction in an even stronger position to make personalized vision care available to everyone, bolster its leadership in clinical research, and grow centers of excellence for common eye diseases.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The acquisition is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, following receipt of required regulatory approvals, the company advised.\n <\/p>\n
