HOT Group announced on Monday, October 5, 2026, that it has completed the sale of cellular carrier HOT Mobile, officially transferring ownership and management to a partnership owned by Delek Israel, Keystone, and Leumi Partners.<\/p>\n
The transaction reflects an enterprise valuation of approximately NIS 1.88 billion for HOT Mobile, with direct cash proceeds to HOT Group totaling around NIS 1.218 billion.<\/p>\n
The company’s mobile operations began in 2011, when HOT Group acquired Mirs and subsequently relaunched it under the HOT Mobile brand. Over the course of 15 years under the group, HOT Mobile became a central driver of competition in Israel’s cellular market, investing heavily in technology infrastructure, deploying 4G and 5G networks, and establishing the joint network company PHI.<\/p>\n
HOT Mobile led the domestic mobile market in revenue growth and subscriber porting, and currently provides services to more than two million consumer and corporate customers, including some of the largest enterprises in the Israeli economy.<\/p>\n
The sale follows HOT Group’s previous divestment of its stake in the IBC fiber optic venture after its expansion. During HOT’s period of ownership, IBC achieved wide deployment covering more than two million households and secured long-term stability via IRU agreements. HOT Group sold its holding in IBC at an overall valuation of approximately NIS 2.2 billion.<\/p>\n
These transactions align with HOT Group’s strategy to focus on core operations and continue extensive investment in developing services for both retail and business customers.<\/p>\n
Tal Granot, CEO of HOT Group, stated following the closing that HOT Mobile was the premier and most significant driver of competition in the Israeli cellular sector. She noted that through technological advancements, high-quality service, and innovation, the company consistently grew its subscriber base and strengthened its financial position.<\/p>\n
