{"id":639403,"date":"2026-10-07T19:28:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-07T19:28:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/639403\/"},"modified":"2026-10-07T19:28:17","modified_gmt":"2026-10-07T19:28:17","slug":"british-airways-resumes-flights-to-ben-gurion-airport-from-october-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/639403\/","title":{"rendered":"British Airways resumes flights to Ben-Gurion Airport from October 25"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>British Airways will resume flights to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/israel-news\/article-910925\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ben-Gurion Airport<\/a>\u00a0near Tel Aviv from October 25,\u00a0The Jerusalem Post learned Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Post verified that direct flights from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/diaspora\/antisemitism\/article-910677\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">London<\/a> Heathrow to Ben-Gurion Airport are available for purchase on the airline&#8217;s website for flights operating from October 25 onwards.<\/p>\n<p>The airline has not operated on the route since Israel launched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/tags\/operation-roaring-lion\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Operation Roaring Lion<\/a>, carrying out airstrikes on Iran, on February 28.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">Due to the ongoing war risks, the London-headquartered airline suspended flights to various Middle East locations, including Tel Aviv, Dubai, Bahrain, and Amman.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of May, the airline announced that flights to these destinations would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/business-and-innovation\/all-news\/article-898198\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">remain suspended<\/a> until at least October 25, Walla reported at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">International Airlines Group, a British-Spanish multinational airline holding company, owns British Airways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-paragraph-section article-body-paragraph\">IAG&#8217;s primary shareholder is the Qatari state-owned Qatar Airways, which holds approximately 26.5% of IAG&#8217;s shares.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"British Airways will resume flights to Ben-Gurion Airport\u00a0near Tel Aviv from October 25,\u00a0The Jerusalem Post learned Wednesday.
