U.S.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@CL.1\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">West Texas Intermediate\u00a0futures<\/a>\u00a0for November advanced 1.04% at $89.32 per barrel.<\/p>\n<p>Stock Chart IconStock chart icon<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static-redesign.cnbcfm.com\/dist\/a54b41835a8b60db28c2.svg\" class=\"Collapsible-dismissButton\" alt=\"hide content\"\/><\/p>\n<p> brent<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump and his national security team have talked about possibly restarting large-scale U.S. military operations in Iran in the coming weeks,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/national-security\/us-military-prepares-new-iran-war-options-ahead-midterm-elections-rcna601725\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> NBC News<\/a> reported, citing sources.
