You lean right into it and say, \u2018This is the conversation we\u2019re going to have,\u2019\u201d says Cindy Eckert, whose Sprout Pharmaceuticals fought a campaign to bring to market Addyi, dubbed \u201cfemale Viagra\u201d by the media, at one point in the teaser.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tFor her efforts, Eckert faced regulatory roadblocks, restrictions and public attacks <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Pink Pill, produced by Julie Bristow\u00a0of\u00a0Catalyst and Abby Greensfelder\u00a0of\u00a0Everywoman Studios, will have a world premiere at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/doc-nyc\/\" id=\"auto-tag_doc-nyc_1\" data-tag=\"doc-nyc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DOC NYC<\/a>\u00a0on Nov. 15.\u00a0 Before that, Sphere Abacus, handling global sales, will shop the film to U.S. and other international buyers at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/mipcom\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mipcom_1\" data-tag=\"mipcom\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MIPCOM<\/a> next week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAnd <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/paramount-2\/\" id=\"auto-tag_paramount-2_1\" data-tag=\"paramount-2\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paramount+<\/a>\u00a0will release the documentary in Canada in early 2026.
