The pop artist will open for Charli XCX next year <\/p>\n

\n\tShe\u2019s finally watching Friends<\/a> \u2014 what took her so long? More than a year after her stellar debut Who\u2019s the Clown<\/a>, Audrey Hobert<\/a> has released a video for \u201cPhoebe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe video features the singer doing some self-exploration, tossing a memoir manuscript into the fire (fittingly titled The Story of My Life), drinking coffee in front of a tombstone (it reads \u201cHopes n Dreams\u201d), and fishing (she scores a hundred-dollar bill). It\u2019s all normal Hobert stuff, so it\u2019s no surprise she directed it herself, as she does with all of her videos.<\/p>\n

\n\tHobert recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of Who\u2019s the Clown with a special vinyl edition<\/a>. \u201cPhoebe\u201d follows the videos for \u201cSilver Jubilee<\/a>,\u201d \u201cSex and the City<\/a>,\u201d \u201cBowling Alley<\/a>,\u201d \u201cThirst Trap,<\/a>\u201d \u201cWet Hair,<\/a>\u201d and of course \u201cSue Me,<\/a>\u201d her sleeper hit that recently debuted on the Billboard Hot 100. She\u2019s currently on tour, and will open for Charli XCX early next year. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI remember having the active thought very early on that there are no rules,\u201d Hobert told Rolling Stone<\/a> last year. \u201cI have such an innate knowledge of pop music because I\u2019ve been studying it without realizing it all my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe also spoke about her whimsical October 2025 appearance on The Tonight Show and the mixed reactions it drew. \u201cI have noticed that some people think I\u2019m doing a shtick or a character,\u201d she said. \u201cThat was me giving it my all. I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll ever do that again. You never know what\u2019s going to happen in this life. So if this is my shot, I\u2019m just going to go up there and be naked\u2026 but also in jeans.\u2019 Naked in jeans. I love that.
