{"id":641067,"date":"2026-10-09T09:50:32","date_gmt":"2026-10-09T09:50:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/641067\/"},"modified":"2026-10-09T09:50:32","modified_gmt":"2026-10-09T09:50:32","slug":"takaichi-says-economy-doesnt-need-reflationary-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/641067\/","title":{"rendered":"Takaichi says economy doesn\u2019t need reflationary policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said Japan no longer needs policy to stimulate inflation as the economy isn\u2019t in a state of deflation anymore, echoing a comment made recently by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJapan\u2019s economy is no longer at a stage where it needs reflationary policies with monetary easing and fiscal expansion,\u201d Takaichi said in response to questions in parliament Thursday. Her policy \u201cdiffers from so-called reflationary policy,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Takaichi\u2019s government has sent a series of signals lately that it is moving beyond reflationary policy, following Bessent\u2019s remarks that Japan should leave efforts to reflate the economy behind. Bank of Japan Gov.
