{"id":645781,"date":"2026-10-14T04:06:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T04:06:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/645781\/"},"modified":"2026-10-14T04:06:17","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T04:06:17","slug":"bitcoin-btc-treasury-news-strive-asst-aims-to-raise-500-million-with-sats-preferred-offering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/645781\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin (BTC) treasury news: Strive (ASST) aims to raise $500 million with SATS preferred offering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bitcoin treasury company Strive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/price\/stock\/asst\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ASST$27.60\u00b7Market Closed<\/a> on Tuesday evening <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2026\/10\/13\/3380189\/0\/en\/strive-announces-proposed-initial-public-offering-of-sats-stock.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">announced a new perpetual preferred stock<\/a>, SATS, with a 15% fixed dividend.<\/p>\n<p>The company is aiming to sell 5 million shares at $100 per share, for a capital raise of $500 million, with proceeds to be used to purchase additional bitcoin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/price\/bitcoin\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BTC$83,624.91<\/a>, acquire income-producing assets, or buy back stock.<\/p>\n<p>The new share class will sit junior to Strive\u2019s current perpetual preferred, SATA, which has a variable rate (currently 13%).<\/p>\n<p>Like SATA, SATS will pay dividends on a daily basis.<\/p>\n<p>At closing of the offering, the company intends to establish a dividend reserve equal to the first 18 months of dividend payments on SATS.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike most bitcoin treasury companies, including far larger peer Strategy, Strive has in recent weeks been able to significantly increase its bitcoin holdings.<\/p>\n<p>The company last week acquired 3,311 bitcoin, bringing total holdings to 32,773 coins, currently worth about $2.7 billiion.
