Series casts Suzuki as Elmore, Murase as Van<\/p>\n

The official X\/Twitter account for the television anime<\/a> of Toshiaki Iwashiro<\/a>‘s Psyren<\/a> manga announced on Thursday that it has cast Reiko Suzuki<\/a> as Elmore Tenjuin (pictured below on right) and Ayumu Murase<\/a> as Van Tenjuin (left):<\/p>\n

The anime debuted<\/a> on October 5. Crunchyroll<\/a> is streaming<\/a> the anime worldwide excluding Japan and China, and it is also streaming<\/a> an English dub<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Global Stage Hollywood screened<\/a> the world premiere for the second episode of the anime at the Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival on October 3 at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood, California. The first episode also screened its West Coast premiere during the event. The manga’s original creator Iwashiro was in attendance at the screening.<\/p>\n

Katsumi Ono<\/a> (Symphogear AXZ<\/a>, Symphogear G<\/a>, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s<\/a>, Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V<\/a>) is directing the anime at Satelight<\/a>. Shin Yoshida<\/a> (Naruto Shipp\u016bden<\/a>, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX<\/a>) is overseeing the series scripts, and Akira \u014ckuma<\/a> (Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus<\/a>; Demon Lord, Retry! R<\/a>) is designing the characters. Composers include: Takashi \u014cmama<\/a> (Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS<\/a>, Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury<\/a>), Tatsuhiko Saiki<\/a> (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!<\/a>, I Parry Everything<\/a>), and Sh\u016b Kanematsu<\/a> (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, The Caf\u00e9 Terrace and Its Goddesses).<\/p>\n

CLAN QUEEN<\/a> performs the opening theme song “Warning!!”\u00a0Who-ya Extended<\/a> performs the ending theme song “ICARUS.”<\/p>\n

REMOW<\/a> describes the anime:<\/p>\n

\tOne day, high schooler Ageha Yoshina picks up a mysterious \u201cred phone card\u201d left behind in a public telephone booth.<\/p>\n

A few days later, his childhood friend and classmate, Sakurako Amamiya\u2014who possessed the same card\u2014suddenly vanishes without a trace. In search of her, Ageha finds himself drawn into the rumors surrounding a nationwide string of mysterious disappearances, said to be the work of a secret organization known only as \u201cPsy\u200aren.\u201d When he accesses the group, a deadly game begins\u2014one that will change his fate forever.\n<\/p>\n

REMOW stated the anime will fully adapt the manga through its conclusion.<\/p>\n

Iwashiro serialized Psyren in Shueisha<\/a>‘s Weekly Shonen Jump<\/a> magazine from 2007-2010. Viz Media<\/a> released all 16 volumes in English from 2011 to 2014.<\/p>\n
