{"id":655191,"date":"2026-10-23T22:12:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-23T22:12:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/655191\/"},"modified":"2026-10-23T22:12:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-23T22:12:07","slug":"blood-brothers-who-chief-joins-enhypen-to-celebrate-drive-success","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/655191\/","title":{"rendered":"Blood brothers: WHO chief joins ENHYPEN to celebrate drive success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DrTedros\/status\/2113286231526171006\" rel=\"nofollow\">met the band<\/a>\u2019s six members \u2013 Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki \u2013 in Korea to celebrate their work with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.who.int\/en\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WHO<\/a> for World Blood Donor Day in June.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign harnessed music, social media and the band\u2019s global fan community, known as ENGENE, to encourage voluntary, unpaid blood donation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBlood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person \u2013 the gift of life,\u201d WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news\/item\/23-10-2026-who-and-enhypen-join-efforts-to-inspire-young-blood-donors-globally\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am proud of all ENHYPEN members\u2019 commitment and collaboration with WHO to promote blood donation and save lives,\u201d said Tedros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe last campaign was a great success, reaching millions of people.
