Subhash Ghai has completed his upcoming film Manya, marking another milestone in his five-decade journey in Indian cinema. The film\u2019s new-look poster was unveiled on October 24, coinciding with the 48th anniversary of Mukta Arts. The project also marks the reunion of Ghai and actor Shreyas Talpade, nearly two decades after their collaboration on Iqbal.<\/p>\n
Over the years, Ghai has carved a distinct place for himself in Hindi cinema with films spanning mainstream entertainers such as Kalicharan, Karz, Hero, Pardes and Taal, alongside socially driven stories such as Iqbal, Black & White and Joggers\u2019 Park. Through Mukta Arts, he has also expanded his work across film production, distribution, exhibition and education.<\/p>\n
As Mukta Arts celebrates 48 years, the production house is exploring a diverse slate of projects, including animated features, films, OTT series and documentaries, several of which are expected to be released soon. Ghai is also working on Khalnayak Returns with Sanjay Dutt and a courtroom drama featuring Anil Kapoor, alongside other projects currently in development.<\/p>\n
Directed by Sameer Joshi, Manya centres on the life of a juvenile boy, looking beyond the crime to explore the human story behind it. The film is produced by Mukta Arts, Puneet Aggarwal and Rahul Puri, in association with Slow Burn Entertainment. The cast also includes Drishyam 3 actor Samvedna Suwalka, Divya Sharma, Priyadarshini Pooja and Zoheb Farooqui in pivotal roles.<\/p>\n

With Manya, Ghai adds another socially relevant story to his filmography in a year that marks 50 years of his journey in Indian cinema.
