Amanda Seyfried admitted she turned down the leading role in Marvel\u2019s \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d because she thought it would \u201cruin\u201d her career.<\/p>\n

And there\u2019s a high chance that this could be bad.’\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cMamma Mia\u201d star confessed she was \u201cobviously\u201d wrong about the movie being a flop but didn\u2019t regret her decision. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018This is not going to be a hit,’\u201d she said. I need something to hold on to.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cCrowded Room\u201d star turned down the movie ahead of meeting her now-estranged husband, Thomas Sadoski, 50, whom she recently split from after nine years of marriage. <\/a>The exes share two kids: Nina, 9, and Thomas Jr., 6.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd also they\u2019re all in space,\u201d she continued.
