\n\tLionsgate U.K.\u2019s horror-comedy \u201cGhosts: The Possession of Button House<\/a>\u201d debuted at the summit of the U.K. and Ireland box office, collecting \u00a32.4 million ($3.2 million) across its opening weekend.<\/p>\n

\n\tWarner Bros.\u2019 DC horror thriller \u201cClayface<\/a>\u201d opened in second position with $2.6 million. Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 comedy feature \u201cAli G: Who Iz I?<\/a>\u201d claimed third place, generating $1.7 million in its debut session.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlack Bear\u2019s animated fantasy \u201cWildwood<\/a>,\u201d directed by Travis Knight, secured fourth spot with an opening haul of $1.36 million. Paramount\u2019s \u201cStreet Fighter,\u201d which led the chart in the previous session, rounded out the top five in its sophomore outing, adding $1.35 million to lift its cumulative total to $5.6 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s animated feature \u201cForgotten Island\u201d placed sixth in its second weekend, collecting $1.2 million for a cume of $3.7 million. Sony\u2019s psychological thriller \u201cVerity\u201d followed in seventh position in its fourth frame, adding $857,067. The Colleen Hoover adaptation\u2019s running total is now $14.4 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tUniversal\u2019s supernatural horror \u201cOther Mommy\u201d took eighth place in its third session with $576,822, bringing its gross to $6.2 million. Mubi\u2019s \u201cFatherland\u201d debuted at No. 9, generating $264,083 from 86 locations over the three-day frame with a sturdy $3,144 screen average \u2013 the fourth highest average per site among new releases. Including preview screenings, the drama\u2019s total opening reached $415,017, surpassing \u201cCold War\u201d to mark director Pawe\u0142 Pawlikowski\u2019s biggest-ever launch in the territory.<\/p>\n

\n\tStudiocanal\u2019s animated holdover \u201cShaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom\u201d rounded out the top 10 in its sixth frame, collecting $408,089 to lift its cume to $6.1 million.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Mubi\u2019s documentary \u201cMaking Marie Antoinette\u201d opened across six sites, taking $1,737 over the weekend for a $24,355 cume. The limited platform bow kicks off a staggered rollout that will expand to additional cinemas ahead of Park Circus\u2019 re-release of Sofia Coppola\u2019s 2006 feature \u201cMarie Antoinette\u201d on Nov. 13.<\/p>\n

\n\tLooking ahead to the upcoming theatrical frame, mid-week event programming kicks off on Tuesday with Trafalgar Releasing\u2019s broadcast of the Royal Ballet\u2019s \u201cManon,\u201d followed on Wednesday by music documentary \u201cOzzy & Black Sabbath: Back to the Beginning,\u201d directed by Ben Wainwright-Pearce across 100+ locations.<\/p>\n

\n\tWide commercial rollouts arriving on Friday across 300+ locations are led by Disney\u2019s mountain survival documentary \u201cEverest: The Other Side,\u201d directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin; A24\u2019s dark comedy \u201cPrimetime,\u201d directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson, Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, and Phoebe Bridgers; Black Bear\u2019s comedy \u201cWicker,\u201d directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, starring Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki; and Kaleidoscope Entertainment\u2019s family comedy \u201cArnie & Barney,\u201d directed by Sean Heuston.<\/p>\n

\n\tOther releases on Friday include Universal\u2019s comedy \u201cI Love Boosters,\u201d directed by Boots Riley and starring Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Demi Moore, and LaKeith Stanfield; Action Xtreme\u2019s \u201cBad Day at the Office\u201d across 100+ screens; Munro Films\u2019 documentary feature \u201cPeter Asher: Everywhere Man,\u201d directed by Dayna Goldfine and Daniel Geller across 100+ sites; and \u201cPan\u2019s Labyrinth\u201d (20th Anniversary 4K Restoration) across 100+ locations.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpecialized, festival, and international titles debuting Friday include BUFF Studios\u2019 \u201cCity of Masks,\u201d directed by Andrea M. Catinella; Picturehouse Entertainment\u2019s \u201cNightborn\u201d; Netflix\u2019s \u201cGentle Monster,\u201d directed by Marie Kreutzer and starring L\u00e9a Seydoux and Catherine Deneuve; Studiocanal\u2019s \u201cAnimol\u201d; and Metis Films\u2019 \u201cIn the Shadows\u201d. BFI Distribution is releasing a 4K restoration of Ken Russell\u2019s classic \u201cThe Devils,\u201d starring Vanessa Redgrave and Oliver Reed across 25+ screens, and Studiocanal is bowing the 25th anniversary 4K re-release of Richard Kelly\u2019s \u201cDonnie Darko,\u201d starring Jake Gyllenhaal across 25+ locations.<\/p>\n
