\n\tThe former Disney Channel stars have reunited for a new campaign for Gomez\u2019s beauty brand, Rare Beauty, recreating moments from their 2009 film \u201cPrincess Protection Program\u201d and their early Youtube videos together. <\/p>\n

\n\tTitled \u201cStill Making Each Other Blush,\u201d the campaign introduces the limited-edition \u201cDelena\u201d Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Bundle, named after the fan-coined nickname for the childhood friends. The $50 set features two shades of Rare Beauty\u2019s bestselling liquid blush<\/a>: Hope, a nude mauve favored by Gomez, and Virtue, a beige peach selected by Lovato. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe bundle, which includes a Soft Pinch Blush Brush and is exclusively available on Rare Beauty\u2019s website. But you can shop other products featured in the campaign separately on retailers such as Ulta<\/a> and Sephora<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe campaign references several moments from the pair\u2019s Disney Channel years. In one image, Gomez and Lovato recreate the poster for \u201cPrincess Protection Program,\u201d wearing updated versions of the blue and yellow gowns worn by their characters, Carter Mason and Princess Rosalinda. In a video posted to Gomez\u2019s Youtube channel<\/a>, the pair revisit their 2008 YouTube series, \u201cThe Demi and Selena Show,\u201d with the two answering questions, discussing childhood crushes and lip-syncing to \u201cOne and the Same,\u201d their duet from the film.<\/p>\n

\n\tGomez and Lovato first met as children on \u201cBarney & Friends\u201d before going on to star in separate Disney Channel franchises, \u201cWizards of Waverly Place\u201d and \u201cCamp Rock.\u201d The two remained close throughout their early careers but have spoken publicly about periods of distance in their friendship.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Rare Beauty campaign follows a recent public reunion in April, when Gomez attended the opening night of Lovato\u2019s \u201cIt\u2019s Not That Deep\u201d tour in Orlando, Fla. Their appearance together marked one of their first public reunions in nearly a decade.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSelena and I have shared a lot of memories over the years since childhood, so being able to connect in this way, in a campaign that feels so nostalgic to both of us, is such a full-circle moment,\u201d Lovato said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019ve loved her liquid blush since she launched the brand so this was really fun to work on. Being on set together felt like we were back in our old bedrooms making YouTube videos and playing with makeup.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGomez added: \u201cThe experiences I\u2019ve shared with Demi are truly unique. Coming together for this campaign was a beautiful reminder of that history and a chance to celebrate who we are today. One and the same\u2026 always.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGomez launched Rare Beauty in 2020, with the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush <\/a>becoming one of the brand\u2019s signature products.
