\n\tChase Sui Wonders<\/a> is being circled to join filmmaker David Mikalson\u2019s Goblin for A24<\/a>, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.<\/p>\n

\n\tWonders, known for her roles<\/a> in The Studio and I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot, will join previously announced castmembers Kenneth Branagh, who has been tapped to voice the titular Goblin, Skyler Gisondo and Will Forte. Though the film\u2019s plot details are being kept under wraps, it\u2019s set to be a raunchy comedy.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe genre seems right up Wonders\u2019 alley, as she spoke highly of comedies in an interview with THR <\/a>last year, ahead of The Studio season one\u2019s release. \u201cI remember coming of age to Pineapple Express and being like, \u2018This is what\u2019s waiting for me in my adult life,’\u201d the actress recalled of her love of Seth Rogen\u2019s body of work. \u201cAnd I\u2019ll stand by my opinion that This Is the End is the last great American comedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tComing off the Emmy-winning The Studio, Wonders will return as assistant-turned-executive Quinn Hackett in season two next year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey really let me be a freak in this show, and that was so liberating, and it empowered me to embrace my inner court jester,\u201d Wonders previously told THR of her experience on the Rogen-led series. \u201cI just want to do more of this, because at the end of the day it\u2019s just really fun to laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe\u2019s also next starring in A24\u2019s Slayground from Jeremy Saulnier, which will release on Jan. 29, 2027, and is currently in production on Olivia Wilde\u2019s holiday comedy Naughty, where she\u2019s starring opposite Jennifer Aniston and Peter Dinklage.<\/p>\n
