Two certificates, DK-187425-UL and DK-187435-UL, were issued on October 23, 2026, and classify the device as a mobile phone. They carry the SM-S952 model family, which earlier regulatory filings have linked to the standard Galaxy S27.

Both certificates list an electrical rating of 9V DC at 2.77A. That works out to 24.93W, which Samsung markets as 25W, the same wired charging ceiling found on the Galaxy S26.

Ten SM-S952 variants are covered, spanning the US, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Japan and Greater China.

The filings cover ten model numbers spread across Samsung’s main markets. SM-S952B and SM-S952B/DS serve Europe and other international regions, SM-S952U and SM-S952U1 cover US carriers and unlocked units, SM-S952W is the Canadian model, and SM-S952N is bound for South Korea. SM-S9520 covers China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, while Japan gets three versions: SC-51H for NTT Docomo, SM-S952Z for SoftBank and SM-S952Q for the SIM-free market.

The Demko ratings match China’s 3C certification from early September, which recorded the same 9V/2.77A profile for the SM-S9520. The standard S-series flagship has featured a 25W rating since the Galaxy S20 in 2020. Neither certificate mentions wireless charging. The Galaxy S26 supports 15W wireless charging and runs on a 4,300mAh battery, though Samsung has not confirmed either figure for its successor.

The rest of the lineup appeared in China’s 3C database in September with higher ratings. The Galaxy S27+ was listed at 45W (15V/3A), while the new Galaxy S27 Pro (SM-S9570) and Galaxy S27 Ultra (SM-S9580) were both certified for 60W (20V/3A), the same peak introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The Pro and Ultra filings also state that both phones will be sold without a charger in the box.

Rumored specifications for the standard Galaxy S27 include an Exynos 2700 chip in most global markets, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in the US, and a privacy display, a feature currently limited to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Antony Muchiri – Tech Writer – 429 articles published on Notebookcheck since 2025

I’ve been obsessed with tech for as long as I can remember, so much so that I’ve become the unofficial “tech support” for my entire family.
