Raymond James has recruited two Florida-based advisors who oversaw approximately $700 million in client assets at Truist, joining two other announcements from &Partners and Janney Montgomery Scott to cap off another busy month of advisor movement.<\/p>\n
Truist duo joins Raymond James employee channel<\/p>\n
Lance Longwater and Christopher \u201cRyan\u201d Haffey have joined Raymond James & Associates, the firm\u2019s employee advisor channel, as managing directors.\u00a0Gregg Stupinski, the channel\u2019s South Atlantic regional director, announced the hires.<\/p>\n
With support from senior registered client service associate Traci Havens, the group has been featured among Forbes’ best-in-state wealth teams this year. Now operating as Longwater Haffey Group of Raymond James, they provide financial planning and customized investment strategies to individuals, families and institutions.<\/p>\n
Longwater has more than 26 years in the industry, including 14 at Truist Investment Services. Haffey is also a financial services veteran, with a registration record going back to 2000.<\/p>\n

Another son, Craig Riseling, is a wealth management associate. Senior client service associate Denise Meschke and client service associate Brooke Brown round out the team.<\/p>\n The three were previously affiliated with Edward Jones, according to their BrokerCheck<\/a> records with<\/a> FINRA<\/a>.<\/p>\n The practice focuses on investment management and retirement income planning for farm and ranch families, energy workers, retirees and multigenerational families.<\/p>\n Riseling is the 132nd practice to join &Partners and the fifth in October. Nine practices with approximately $7.4 billion in prehire assets have joined over the past two months alone.<\/p>\n At the end of the third quarter, &Partners reported\u00a0$65 billion in assets.<\/p>\n
