WASHINGTON (TNND) \u2014 A progressive student attacked pro-Trump influencer Liz Benichou during a free speech event at the University of Michigan.<\/a><\/p>\n

During the event, the student, who was dressed in black leggings and a T-shirt, got into a spat<\/a> about Islam with Benichou.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you walked around like this in Iran, what would happen to her?\u201d Benichou asked.<\/p>\n

The student ended up dropping her phone and shoved Benichou to the ground and yelled, \u201cDon\u2019t f*cking talk to me like that!\u201d<\/p>\n

A young man came over and pulled the student off of her. Benichou confirmed on X that the young man was the attacker\u2019s boyfriend.<\/p>\n

Eventually a cop came, got the student on the ground and arrested her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m okay,\u201d she wrote on X. \u201cThis is what happens when you[re] dealing with leftist radicals. THE LEFT IS MORE VIOLENT THAN THE RIGHT!\u201d<\/p>\n

Benichou\u2019s manager told the Mediate news outlet<\/a> that she had her lower back injured after she was thrown to the ground.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe lady was crashing out and kept going at Liz,\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n

He said that she plans to press charges against the student.<\/p>\n

The attack comes days after four activists were charged for involvement in a criminal intimidation campaign against the university where they demanded they cut financial ties with Israel. <\/p>\n
