\n\tCardi B<\/a> isn\u2019t a fan of students leaning on AI<\/a> to pass their classes.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent performance at Johns Hopkins University\u2019s Hoptoberfest, the Billboard Hot 100-topping Bronx rapper had a message for the students in attendance. \u201cY\u2019all better pass y\u2019all motherf\u2013kin\u2019 semester,\u201d she told the crowd<\/a>. \u201cAnd don\u2019t ask ChatGPT for the answer.\u201d This isn\u2019t the first time Cardi has shown her disdain for artificial intelligence. Back in February, she tweeted<\/a> about having to deal with seeing family get duped by AI on Facebook. \u201cFree my older family members from facebook Ai,\u201d the Grammy winner wrote while adding a robot and weary face emoji.<\/p>\n

\n\tCardi was a late addition to Hoptoberfest, the annual Halloween event put on by the university\u2019s Hopkins Student Organization for Programming (HOP), after Canadian singer Daniel Caesar<\/a> had to suddenly cancel. The student paper, The News-Letter<\/a>, reported that ticketholders learned about the change<\/a> in an email that read, \u201cDue to unforeseen circumstances, Daniel Caesar is no longer able to perform. However, we are excited to announce that our new headliner is none other than\u2026CARDI B!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStudents didn\u2019t mind the last-minute change, though.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI was actually pretty excited about Daniel Caesar, I do listen to a good amount of his music,\u201d sophomore Bhavya Guru told the paper. \u201cWhen they switched it to Cardi B, I was a little surprised and honestly thought it was fake. I\u2019m honestly really hyped for Cardi B and think it\u2019s going to be a lot of fun. I feel like it\u2019s going to be really good to hear a lot of throwbacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSophomore Lana Hakma was also hyped about the switch and didn\u2019t mind that the event had to be rescheduled from Saturday, Oct. 31, to Sunday, Nov. 1. \u201cI am personally really excited about the change,\u201d she told The News-Letter<\/a>. \u201cI like Cardi B a lot better and I know her songs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn other Cardi news, she\u2019s been making headlines lately through X Spaces and Instagram Live, respectively. First, she talked about how rap beef is boring. \u201cI don\u2019t even give a f\u2013k about these b\u2014hes anymore,\u201d she told fans<\/a>. \u201cTo be honest with you, it\u2019s like, I don\u2019t even like beefing with rap b\u2014hes anymore, because it\u2019s kinda boring.\u201d Then, about a week later, she spoke on how fame and fortune can change how those around you view you. \u201cBeing successful, it is so scary,\u201d she said<\/a>. \u201cNot even because you just don\u2019t know who\u2019s genuine anymore. You just don\u2019t know who got that secret animosity for you.
