Stepping away from the daily grind after my 14-year tenure at the creative helm of Cheil, I leave the office as the current \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/campaignbriefasia.com\/2026\/02\/05\/cheil-hong-kong-and-paul-chans-dominant-run-at-the-top-of-the-campaign-brief-asia-hong-kong-creative-rankings-continues-publicis-rises-to-2\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">#1 Agency in Hong Kong<\/a>\u2019 and \u2018Top 10 in Asia\u2019 in Campaign Brief Asia\u2019s Creative Rankings \u2013 a dominant position held for 8 years running.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve also had the privilege of being ranked (and remain) the #1 \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/campaignbriefasia.com\/2026\/02\/17\/the-top-100-most-awarded-creatives-in-asia-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Most Awarded Creative in Hong Kong<\/a>\u2019 for an unprecedented 9 years straight \u2013 including 2 consecutive years in <a href=\"https:\/\/campaignbriefasia.com\/2020\/12\/28\/download-the-complete-2020-campaign-brief-asia-creative-rankings-the-227-most-awarded-agencies-2147-most-awarded-individual-creatives-ranked\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2020<\/a> and 2021 where I topped the overall rankings as the #1 \u2018Most Awarded Creative in Asia\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis next chapter belongs completely to personal freedom and a long-overdue pause with my beautiful wife and two very loud kids \u2013 none of whom give a flying hoot about my industry rankings anyway. The corporate race is run.
