Israeli company MCTECH, which specializes in developing and manufacturing electronic warfare (EW) solutions, Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Counter-UAS), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems, and communications jamming technologies, has completed the delivery of its MC-60P tactical communications jamming systems to a European NATO member country in the Mediterranean. Designed for special forces operations, the systems can disrupt enemy cellular and satellite communications over distances of several kilometers. Following the project’s successful completion, the company has secured a follow-on contract for additional systems.

According to the company, the systems are designed for operational use by special forces to disrupt cellular and satellite communication networks used by hostile forces. They are intended to degrade enemy communications, command, and coordination capabilities, providing deployed forces with a tactical advantage in the electromagnetic spectrum.

The MC-60P features a modular architecture that allows configurations to be tailored to specific operational requirements and terrain conditions. Designed for rapid deployment across a range of operational environments, the systems can operate in diverse field conditions without requiring complex or permanent infrastructure.

Their jamming coverage extends over several kilometers, depending on terrain, system configuration, and the characteristics of the targeted communication networks. This capability enables special forces to conduct electronic warfare operations across extensive operational areas.

The systems support a range of military missions, including special operations, protection of maneuvering forces, isolation of operational areas, and disruption of enemy command-and-control communications. Their modular design allows them to be adapted to evolving battlefield scenarios and mission-specific requirements.

Erez Shachar, VP of Business Development at MCTECH, commented on the contract: “The successful completion of this project and the signing of the follow-on contract represent a significant vote of confidence in MCTECH’s technological and operational capabilities. The modern battlefield requires special forces to address increasingly sophisticated communications threats, while the ability to disrupt enemy communications over extended distances has become a critical element in achieving operational superiority.”
