Rocker Machine Gun Kelly is gushing over \u201cphenomenal mom\u201d Megan Fox, but insiders tell the National Enquirer his praise is yet another tactic to try to worm his way back into the actress\u2019 heart despite her stance that they just stay friends while raising their baby girl.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve been cordial but not romantic during the first months of co-raising their baby, but it\u2019s no secret MGK wants more,\u201d says an insider.<\/p>\n

Sources say that\u2019s why he\u2019s pouring on the flattery in public.<\/p>\n

On the Sept. 18 episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show<\/a>, the \u201cBad Things\u201d singer, 35, dished about coparenting 6-month-old daughter Saga Blade with 39-year-old Megan.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had it with a person who is the greatest partner, the greatest person to have had a child with,\u201d the rapper said, describing the Transformers beauty as \u201csuch a phenomenal mom.\u201d<\/p>\n

While MGK has been piling on the praise, the insider notes: \u201cHe\u2019s not putting on any pressure. He doesn\u2019t want to trigger Megan.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s being super sweet and showing that he\u2019s changed and can do better as opposed to telling her, which he\u2019s tried to do before with no success.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple quashed their engagement in November 2024 shortly after Megan reportedly discovered texts on his phone with other women. She announced her pregnancy with a photo of her cradling her bump and the caption, \u201cNothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,\u201d an apparent reference to her 2021 miscarriage.<\/p>\n

Adds the insider, \u201cBottom line is MGK wants to come back and be a real family, but he\u2019s going to have to be patient. Megan wants a friendly but platonic relationship with him. She isn\u2019t giving him false hopes. She wants him in their daughter Saga\u2019s life \u2014 but nothing more.\u201d<\/p>\n
