\u2018KPop Demon Hunters\u2019 singers perform \u2018Golden\u2019 live<\/p>\n
The audience went wild when EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami \u2014 the soaring vocals behind the roles of Rumi (Arden Cho), Mira (May Hong) and Zoey (Ji-young Yoo), respectively \u2014 came on Fallon\u2019s show Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis has been a phenomenon,\u201d the late night host said. \u201cI\u2019m so honored to have you here.\u201d<\/p>\n
As he listed the film\u2019s staggering streaming numbers \u2014 it has been streamed more than 362 million times around the world \u2014 the singers seemed genuinely shocked by it all.<\/p>\n
The movie about a trio of K-pop superstars who hunt demons hit Netflix in late June and has already become the most-watched film in Netflix history, as the Deseret News<\/a> previously reported.<\/p>\n The hit song \u201cGolden<\/a>\u201d \u2014 which EJAE said she co-wrote while on her way to the dentist \u2014 has now held the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks<\/a>. A few weeks ago, it became the longest-leading movie soundtrack of the decade as it surpassed the previous record set by the \u201cEncanto\u201d hit \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno,\u201d Billboard<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n And in late August, a staggering four songs from the film simultaneously charted in the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> top 10 \u2014 a first for a film soundtrack, according to Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cThis movie has affected us all so much on an emotional level,\u201d Nuna told Fallon, noting that while it usually takes her a long time to process her emotions, she was bawling her eyes out within five minutes of the film\u2019s premiere as she saw Korean culture represented so strongly \u2014 something she never could have imagined as a child.<\/p>\n Ami recalled with some emotion hearing a 5-year-old boy singing \u201cGolden\u201d \u201cat the top of his lungs\u201d while shopping at an H Mart in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s one thing to hear our song on the radio, but to hear it come out of a child, live … in H Mart?!\u201d she exclaimed. \u201cI just cried at H Mart.\u201d<\/p>\n Singers Rei Ami, Audrey Nuna, and EJAE of “KPop Demon Hunters” during an interview with host Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025. | NBC<\/p>\n At the end of the interview, Fallon shared with the audience that the singers brought \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d merch for everyone in attendance.
