The Duke and Duchess of Sussex<\/a> attended the Project Healthy Minds gala in New York City, where they arrived hand-in-hand wearing matching Armani suits. <\/p>\n

A source says Meghan Markle knows that having the royal family\u2019s support is ultimately rewarding<\/p>\n

Insiders say Meghan has quietly supported Harry\u2019s wish to mend ties with his family, especially with King Charles. \u201cThey need the royal family,\u201d one source told Page Six<\/a>, adding, \u201cMeghan is aware of that.\u201d While Meghan knows Harry won\u2019t return to royal duties, the insider claimed, \u201cOn a human, personal level, she wants for him to be able to get on good terms with his father.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to palace sources, Harry has initiated tentative discussions about bringing Meghan and their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, back to the UK in the near future.<\/p>\n

Security concerns remain a major obstacle since Harry lost his legal appeal in May over taxpayer-funded protection. He previously described the government\u2019s decision as \u201cunjustified and inferior treatment.\u201d<\/p>\n

An insider confirmed that Markle is not preventing Harry<\/a> from spending time with his family and even encouraged him to meet the King while he was in London. The source added that both Markle and Harry want Charles to enjoy moments with his grandchildren.<\/p>\n

During their private tea at Clarence House, Harry reportedly gave a photo of Archie and Lilibet to his father.<\/p>\n

Harry was reportedly relieved to find Charles doing well, flashing a broad smile as he told reporters the King was \u201cgreat.\u201d Sources say the prince has appeared noticeably lighter and happier since the reunion.
