\u201cThere was not a single person on this planet who did more than you to advance peace. No one even came close. Your election to the presidency marks the turning point, not only for the United States, but for the entire world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou became one of the most consequential presidents in history. You saved countless lives that would\u2019ve been lost without your leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n
Israel will push for Trump to get the Nobel Peace Prize next year, he said. <\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no one more deserving than you, President Trump,\u201d he told the commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Trump \u201cthe greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House,\u201d while profusely thanking him for helping reach peace in Gaza and clinch the release of all Israeli hostages.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo American president has ever done more for Israel.\u00a0\u2026\u00a0It ain\u2019t even close,\u201d Netanyahu said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve already been etched in the history of humanity,\u201d the prime minister added. \u201cThank you, President Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Israeli prime minister also hailed Trump for his commitment to peace. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou are committed to this peace, I am committed to this peace,\u201d he told Trump. \u201cTogether, Mr. President, we will achieve this peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netanyahu also said he was submitting his name to be awarded the Israel Prize \u2014 the state\u2019s highest cultural honor \u2014 for his efforts in freeing the hostages. <\/p>\n
\u201cMr. President. Thank you for all you have done for us. I have submitted your nomination to be the first non-Israeli recipient of the Israel Prize, Israel\u2019s highest award,\u201d he told Trump as the Knesset erupted in applause.<\/p>\n
Netanyahu then threw some shade at the \u201cother prize,\u201d alluding to the Nobel Peace Prize, and told Trump it\u2019s \u201cjust a question of time\u201d until he wins the award. <\/p>\n
