Derry is beautiful place, but things do happen from time to time\u2026<\/p>\n

On the heels of yesterday\u2019s red band trailer<\/a>, IGN<\/a> debuted a new \u201cIT: Welcome to Derry\u201d teaser. Check it below, along with a new poster featuring the Hanlon family.<\/p>\n

The eight-episode series premieres Sunday, October 26, at 9pm ET\/PT on HBO and HBO Max. New episodes will debut weekly leading up to the season finale on December 14.<\/p>\n

Serving as an expansion of Andy Muschietti\u2019s IT films based on Stephen King\u2018s 1986 novel, the first season is set in 1962. Muschietti directs multiple episodes.<\/p>\n

Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd returns as Pennywise the Clown, starring alongside Jovan Adepo\u00a0(\u201cThe Stand\u201d), Taylour Paige\u00a0(The Toxic Avenger), Chris Chalk\u00a0(\u201cGotham\u201d), James Remar (\u201cDexter\u201d), Stephen Rider (\u201cDaredevil\u201d), Madeleine Stowe (\u201cRevenge\u201d), and Rudy Mancuso\u00a0(The Flash).<\/p>\n

Alixandra Fuchs\u00a0(Boogeyman Pop), Kimberly Guerrero\u00a0(\u201cReservation Dogs\u201d), Dorian Grey\u00a0(Star Trek: Discovery),\u00a0Thomas Mitchell\u00a0(Spiral: From the Book of Saw), BJ Harrison (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Peter Outerbridge\u00a0(Saw VI),\u00a0Shane Marriott (\u201cFargo\u201d),\u00a0Chad Rook\u00a0(Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), Joshua Odjick\u00a0(The Long Walk), and Morningstar Angeline\u00a0(\u201cEcho\u201d) round out the cast.<\/p>\n

It: Chapter Two co-producer Jason Fuchs, who wrote the teleplay for the first episode, and Brad Caleb Kane (\u201cCrystal Lake\u201d) serve as co-showrunners.<\/p>\n

If the series is renewed, Muschietti plans for the second season to take place in 1935 and the third season to be set in 1908.<\/p>\n
