The Battles continue on The Voice with Season 28 having a twist in that the 12 artists from each team chose who they are paired up with rather than coaches Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg or Michael Bubl\u00e9 making that decision. That said, the coaches do have the final word on who stays on their team and who is eliminated.<\/p>\n
Parade has this sneak peek at Monday night\u2019s Team Niall Battle between Aiden Ross and Ava Nat, who give an emotional performance of Niall\u2019s \u201cWhat a Time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Your voices blend so well together. If it doesn\u2019t work out individually, you might think about that. I thought it was a wonderful performance. Loved the song. Great choice on that.\u201d<\/p>\n Then Snoop asks Niall, \u201cIt\u2019s one of your songs, right?\u201d<\/p>\n When Niall says yes, Snoop adds, \u201cYou\u2019re cheating, man. You ain\u2019t supposed to be giving them songs like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Reba continues, \u201cI couldn\u2019t pick either one of them, so I say, pick both of them.\u201d<\/p>\n Then it\u2019s Michael\u2019s turn to critique. He says, \u201cAiden, you have such a beautiful voice, and I just love watching you go into your falsetto. Ava, there\u2019s such a sweetness and richness in your tone. This is a tough one. For me, it\u2019s Aiden. The falsetto kind of melted me. I kind of want to shed a tear behind this record. I actually wanted both of y\u2019all on my team. I turned my chair for y\u2019all so I know what you can do solo. But to see you guys come together in this duet, and for it to leave an impression on my heart\u2026”<\/p>\n “I\u2019m thinking about doing some things,” he continues. “But I ain\u2019t going to say what I\u2019m doing until he do what he do. So, when he finished with what he doing, I may talk about what I\u2019m doing. But you guys were amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n Then it was time for their coach\u2019s assessment, and Niall said, \u201cThat was just beautiful. It was everything I wanted it to be and 20 times more. The thing that was making me think who would win this Battle would be who could get the emotion across. And that\u2019s why I picked this song. You guys sounded so good together. You know, I don\u2019t like this part.
